The Cuthbert Catwatch Society - Boo Meets Midnight 


Boo, a Persian tortoise cat with a coat splashed in vibrant patches of  black and orange, proudly patrolled the quaint streets of Cuthbert, Georgia. Her fluffy fur and gentle demeanor made her a beloved figure in the town, but she took her duties as guardian very seriously.

One warm spring evening, as twilight painted the sky in soft pastels, Boo heard whispers among the neighborhood birds about a mysterious newcomer in town—a cat as dark as the midnight sky, who had settled near the old historic courthouse.

Curious and cautious, Boo decided it was her duty to investigate. With delicate paws and sharp eyes, she swiftly crossed through Main Street and reached the courthouse square, where the lamplights were flickering to life.

Beneath a blooming Azalea bush, lounging gracefully in the twilight shadows, was Midnight, a majestic black Persian cat with eyes that gleamed like polished amber.



“You’re new around here,” Boo said, approaching gently but confidently. “I’m Boo, the protector of Cuthbert. Who might you be?”

The elegant cat rose gracefully, nodding respectfully. “I’m Midnight,” he replied, his voice smooth and calm. “I’ve traveled a long way and found this charming town rather appealing. I meant no intrusion.”

Boo studied Midnight for a moment, sensing kindness behind his sophisticated appearance. “Cuthbert welcomes friendly visitors,” she said warmly. “Perhaps you’d like to join me on my evening patrol? I can introduce you to everyone.”

Midnight’s eyes brightened with pleasure. “I’d be honored.”



Together, the two Persian cats strolled the familiar pathways of Cuthbert. Boo proudly showed Midnight her favorite spots—the flowerbeds near the café, the peaceful park benches, and the cozy porches where townsfolk often left out treats and gentle pats.

By the end of their patrol, Midnight had charmed the entire town, and Boo had found not only a reliable ally but also a wonderful friend. The town of Cuthbert slept peacefully that night, knowing their beloved guardian Boo had gained a noble companion to help keep watch beneath the Georgia stars.

Officer Willie Mae A Cuthbert Catwatch Society Story It was a warm, muggy morning in Cuthbert, Georgia. The dew still clung to the grass, and the sun had only just begun peeking over the pine trees when Boo called an emergency meeting.
